Edward "Bud" Reichart, 86

Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 930 31st St. North, St. Cloud, MN for Edward Reichert, age 86, who died Monday at St. Benedict Senior Community in St. Cloud.  Burial will be in the Assumption Calvary cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 at the church.  Arrangements are with Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring.

Edward was born in Richmond, MN to Edward and Marion (Chown) Reichert.  He married Mary Lou Wenner on August 17, 1957 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring.  Edward attended St. Boniface High School, St. Cloud State University, and William Mitchel College of Law.  He practiced law for 35 years, was a past president of the Stearns/Benton Bar Association and a Municipal Judge for St. Cloud.  Edward enjoyed snowmobiling, billiards, beekeeping, fishing, golfing, hunting, especially hunting pheasants with his dog and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Boy Scouts, Special Olympics, St. Cloud City Council, St. Peter's Catholic Church and a past School Board Member.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; children, Kathy Marx, Steve (Jill) Reichert, Patty (Jeff) Hill; siblings, Tom (Virginia), Wally (Milly); grandchildren, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Max, Maggie, Maddie, Josh and Zach.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Alyce.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Benedict Center or Cathedral High School.
