I first knew Mac when I was in the Air Force in the early 60's and also at Portsmouth Navy Yard in later years. He was a nice guy and always had a ready smile. I am sure he will be missed.

I had the opportunity to work with Mac at PNS while we were both active in IFPTE. He had a special gift for knowing everyone on the shipyard (all of whom were able to assist him whenever he needed something made quickly). Mac also made everyone feel like a friend, whether he saw them daily or annually. He was a colorful person who never tired of sharing stories about his grandchildren and Air Force service. I'm grateful to have known him.
Bless his family during this difficult time.
