Barbara Whitney Obituary

Barbara (Reid) Skutle Whitney

Barbara Jean died on January 6,

2014 in Kirkland. She was born May 15, 1931 to David and Naomi (Verd) Reid, and graduated from Bothell High School in 1949.

Barbara was a voracious reader and retired from the King County Library System having worked at Bothell and Shoreline.

Preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Susan Meyer and son Stephen Skutle; survived by daughter Sandra Ford, granddaughter Adrianne, and great-granddaughters, Victoria & Jasmine, all of Hawaii.

A 'Remembrance' gathering will be held Sunday, January 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Country Inn, 19333 NorthCreek Parkway in Bothell (I-405 exit 24).

Donations to Children's Hospital or charity of choice.
