Edwin Angus Davis

Eddie passed away on January 2, 2014. He was born in Seattle on June 13, 1918, the eighth child of Loyal and Clara Davis' ten children. He was raised in Seattle's Central District and graduated Garfield High in 1936. Eddie served in the Naval Air Corps during WWII and was stationed in the Aleutian Islands. In 1946, he married Eva Kamp, the love of his life. He worked at Boeing, as well as several other places, before starting his career in sales at Stack Steel and Supply, where he remained for thirty years. Eddie was an avid golfer, which he pursued regularly after retirement. Known for his sense of humor and cheerfulness he genuinely valued his family and friends. Eva, his wife of 67 years, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter Kristine Sanders (Joel) and son David Davis (Judy) as well as his three grandchildren Emily and Karin Sanders, and Spencer Davis; and his three great granddaughters Lily, Greyson, and Lola. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial to celebrate Eddie's life will be held on February 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Aurora Church of the Nazarene, 1900 N 175th Street, Shoreline WA. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to your favorite charity in Eddie's name.
