Beverly Monica Munsen

Bevery Munsen died at age 80 on April 25th, 2017. Beverly was born Beverly Monica Bennard, to Antonio and Adeline Bennard, in Portland OR on April 3rd 1937 where she lived until her marriage to Victor Allen Munsen May 12th, 1973. After her marriage she moved to Shoreline and later Woodinville WA. She loved the Pacific Northwest and never wanted to leave the trees and mountains.

Beverly attended Grant High School and Portland State, and later worked in personnel administration in the Federal Highway Administration, Federal Energy Administration, Drug Enforcement Agency and Internal Revenue Services in Washington State. Throughout her life she always gravitated towards working with people.

Following the birth of her son, Victor Antony Munsen, she threw the same energies into the school system where she was active with the Shoreline PTSA where she received awards for her involvement, and hosted numerous exchange students from Japan, France and Spain. Later in life she worked at the Washington State Convention Center and would return home to talk about the various people she loved to meet and speak with. She was an active swimmer, a hiker, a gardener and in every one of her activities she would gather friends about her who would last though her years.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 43 years and 42 year old son.

Service will be held May 13th at St Theresa of Calcutta Catholic Church at 11am. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.
