Myrtle O. E. Fjarlie
Myrtle O. E. Fjarlie, 98, passed away November 1, 2013. She was born June 28, 1915, in Superior, Wisconsin. Moved to Seattle in the late 1920s. Graduated from Broadway High School in 1933. Worked at Langendorf Bakery after high school, then at Boeing for nine years including the years during World War II. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Fjarlie, in 2002. Survived by her daughter, Karen (Matthew) Devine, and son, Craig Fjarlie. Memorial service Friday, November 8, at 1:00 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 175th and 8th N.E. in Shoreline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church or Bread for the World.
