Barbara Betty Bartlett

Barbara Betty Bartlett

Born Barbara Betty Blackmer, February 3, 1928.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord

is the death of His saints".

Our precious Mother went home to live forever with her Lord on December 15th, 2012.

She was born in Tacoma, WA, married during WWII and had three children. Her working life included clerical/computer work for the state of Washington. She was active in Open Door Baptist church in Lynnwood. From the beginning, she lead us to a faith in God. We often heard, "Don't forget God".

She and her life partner, Ed, traveled with their two dogs visiting almost every state. She liked to sing, tap danced and jitter- bugged as a youth and could remember all the words to Sunday School songs and popular songs around and after WWII.

She out-lived 5 siblings. Her three children are Janice Case, Terry Bartlett (Cathy), and Cheryl Estes (Richard). There are 6 grandchildren, eleven great-grand children and two great-great grandchildren. Grandma "B" was especially important to and loved by granddaughter Erin. There are precious nieces and nephews scattered in the country. Ed, faithfully loved and cared for her.

One day soon we shall be together again forever. PRAISE GOD!

Thank you, Mom.

With our love always.

Family graveside services follow with a celebration of her life at Open Door Baptist Church in Lynnwood.

Remembrances may be made to Open Door Baptist Church in Lynnwood, WA or to Providence Hospice of Seattle.
