Beverly Ann Joseph
Beverly Ann Joseph of Everett, WA died August 26, 2013 at Providence Hospital after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy. She was born December 4, 1944 in Walla Walla, WA to Gabriel S. Joseph Sr. and Emily Ferris Joseph. She received her BA degree from Eastern WA University. Upon her graduation, she began her teaching career in Hawaii. She volunteered for The Peace Corps and taught English to girls in Tamil Nadu, India for three years. While in India, she made many friends with whom she visited for several years. She spent many years travelling throughout the world; upon retiring from the Peace Corps she worked for AT&T for several years. Subsequently, she worked at Highline Community College as an instructor in Basic Education. She was an excellent writer and poet; enjoyed sharing her work with many friends and family. She was an avid sports enthusiast, especially the UW teams. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Eva. She is survived by her brothers Gabe (Margaret) Joseph, Ray (Lilia) Joseph and several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews.
