Beverly Jean Noe Kearney

Beverly Jean Noe Kearney

Beverly was born in Torrington, WY on Thanksgiving Day, 1935, the eldest daughter of Willie and Lola Noe. Leaving their Nebraska farm behind, the family headed for Seattle in 1941. Beverly graduated from Lincoln High School, earned a master's degree from the University of Washington and taught for several years in the Seattle Public Schools. She was married to Edward Kearney in 1960 and, together with their young sons, they relocated to Chelan in 1978. Beverly found great joy in classical music, science and, especially, her devoted children: Dr. Patrick Kearney (Melody) of Wynantskill, NY and Joshuah Kearney of Medical Lake, WA. She passed away at home on Jan. 3, 2013 in the loving care of her son, Josh. In addition to her sons, she leaves three grandchildren: Will, Lorann and Nikki Kearney; two sisters, Bonnie Sullivan and Dixie Frederick and many nieces and nephews. Our Beverly will always be remembered for the loveliness and verve of her youth, her abiding loyalty to family, her unassuming nature and her uncommon kindness to us all.
