Carolyn Jeane Rislov CLARK

Carolyn Was born in Minneapolis, MN, to Genevieve Winter and Walter Myers. She took her stepfather's name "Rislov" when the family moved to Washington State in 1943.
After graduating from Yakima High School in 1944, she joined the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps and went into nurses training in Walla Walla, later transferring to St. Elizabeth's in Yakima - graduating in 1947. During her nursing career, she worked at several Washington State hospitals and was a school nurse in Iran for 3 years.
In 1948 she married Harold R. Clark (Dick) and moved to Spokane where Dick attended Gonzaga. In 1952 the family moved to Seattle and Dick began a long career at Boeing. In 1968 Dick was transferred to Germany and for 16 years lived in several countries, retiring in 1989.
Carolyn loved the challenges of different cultures. She and Dick made many friends and considered themselves very fortunate to have had these experiences.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, and baby son, Timothy.
She is survived by her sisters, Linda and Julie, daughter, Jenni, sons Stephen (Chris), Jonathan (Sharon), Matthew (Carmen), nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
