Denise LaRee Behrmann

Denise passed away at home in Maple Valley on January 3, 2013 while waiting for a heart transplant. Denise was born in Seattle on July 25, 1958 to Elmer and Doris Harris. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1976 and attended Rick's College in Idaho. During high school she joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and her faith was of the highest importance to her throughout her life. On August 31, 1985 she married Mark Behrmann, and together they lived in SeaTac and then Maple Valley. Denise held a variety of jobs including positions as a Machinist at Boeing and a Screening Agent for TSA. She enjoyed a wide variety of activities from crafts to chainsaw carving. Denise was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ronda. She is survived by her husband; children Jeremy (Jennifer) Yahne, Joshua Yahne and Brittany Behrmann; and siblings Betty Freeman, John (Mary) Harris and Emily Naylor. She was the proud grandmother to three granddaughters Julia Behrmann, Jillian Yahne and Hayden Yahne. She will also be missed dearly by her many nieces and nephews. A service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 19909 SE Wax Road, Maple Valley, WA 98038.
