Donna V CRIST

Donna V (Campbell) Crist, 86, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Norse Home in Seattle, Washington. She had suffered from both Parkinson's disease and pulmonary fibrosis for several years.

Donna was born November 25, 1926 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to William Lafayette and Clara B (Hill) Campbell. She married Albert G (Buster) Crist in Seattle, Washington on January 6, 1944. She was an active member of the Woodland Park branch of the RLDS church, now Community of Christ. For over 60 years she was an employee, corporate secretary, and ultimately part owner of Arthur E. Campbell-Husted Co., insurance adjusters. She was a long-standing member and past president of the Seattle Insurance Women's Association. Donna loved traveling with her sisters. She belonged to a local garden club, and enjoyed quilting and various forms of needle work.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers Charles, Roy and Victor Campbell; sisters Wilma Fern and Clara Ruth Campbell, Eunice Human, and Betty Lewis. She is survived by her three children, Judy Mirante, Seattle; Jill Hornung (Scott), Oak Harbor; Dan Crist (Sue), Seattle; four grandchildren, Drew Mirante, Amy Hornung, and Blake and Brooks Crist; sisters Inez Donofrio (Tony), Novelty, Ohio; Mary Maxey, Oceanside, California; Wanda Burns, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Donna's life will take place January 12, 2013 from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Community of Christ church, 5555 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle.
