Ila Dwayne Tourney McDaniel Force

Ila Dwayne Tourney McDaniel FORCE Passed away February 25, 2006. Ila was born October 29, 1923 in Lebanon Nebraska, the youngest of 5 children. She graduated from Ovid Colorado high school in 1941. Ila married Claude McDaniel in 1943. They were happily married for 19 years and lived in North Bend, WA. In 1945, they were blessed with the birth of Betty Jo. Sadly Betty Jo died in infancy. Claude was in the timber industry where he and Ila worked side by side. Claude passed away in 1962. Ila was fortunate enough to meet and marry James Force in 1963 where they resided in Fall City, WA for 20 years. They had 2 beautiful children, Norman and Mary Force. Ila loved to hunt, fish, play bingo and bowl. She retired with James Force to LaGrande Oregon where they lived for 12 years before James' passing. She moved back to Seattle to live closer to her children and 3 grandchildren, Peyton, Kolby and Cassie. She was a fixture at Mary and Norman's softball games. Ila was preceded in death by her father, Anderson Tourney; first husband, Claude McDaniel; brother, Ivan; mother, Mary Elzina Tourney; sister, Luralla "Hap"; sister, Opal May; sister, Cleo Belle; and second husband, James Force. Ila is survived by her son and daughter in law, Norman and Tracy Force and their children, Peyton, Kolby, and Cassie and her daughter, Mary Force. Also, her beloved dog Xena and 14 year old cat, Funny Face. She will be missed by those who loved and knew her. Services are planned for Monday March 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Snoqualmie Valley Funeral Chapel. Their address is 1202 Boalch Ave NW, North Bend, WA 98045. 425-888-2700. A Graveside Service will follow at Mt. Si Cemetery in North Bend.
