Jill Kadin Dace

of Mill Creek, WA. Born April 11, 1953 in Staten Island, NY, died November 28, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steve, mother Nancy, sisters Sue and Anne (Tom), brothers Jim (Julie) and Chris (Thom), nieces Nyla, Jennipher and Shannon, nephews Brian, Ben and Nick. She was also the adopted grandmother of Kiera, Chris and Mariah. Jill was preceded in death by her father, Stanley.

After receiving her BS and MPA degrees from the University of Arizona, Jill moved to Washington in 1981, and worked as a grants and contracts administrator for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. For the past 21 years Jill worked for Snohomish County as Contract Administrator for the Mental Health Division of the Human Services Department.

Jill enjoyed knitting, bicycling, hiking and traveling with her husband family & friends. Some of her favorite recollections were trips to the southwest with family and bicycling the Canadian Rockies as well as camping in the state parks of Washington and Oregon. She was also proud of her involvement with the board of directors of Planned Parenthood of Snohomish County.

A gathering of her friends, coworkers and family will take place on December 3 at 7:30PM at the VOA building at 16300 Motor Place, Lynnwood. In lieu of flowers Jill would like donations be sent to Planned Parenthood.
