John B. "Mick" McLoughlin

John B. "Mick" McLoughlin

John B. "Mick" McLoughlin passed away peacefully on January 6, 2013, in Seattle after a long illness. He was born on July 19, 1931, the eldest of four children. Mick graduated from Lincoln High School in 1949 and married his high school sweetheart, Carol Ann Nelson. Mick formed JBM and Associates, and later met and married our wonderful stepmother Gale.

An avid skier and boating enthusiast, Mick enjoyed spending time by the ocean. They enjoyed boating in the San Juan's and fulfilled one of Mick's lifelong ambitions when they navigated the Northwest Passage. In his later years, Mick enjoyed the company of his friends and his dogs. Mick is survived by his wife Gale, brother Pat, sisters Kathleen and Theresa, his children Pat, Mark, Laurie and Jay, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Seattle Humane Society.
