John Charles Brown

John Charles Brown

Born June 7, 1921 in Charleroi, PA to John Paul and Mary (Paluso) Brown, died 10/21/2013 in Blaine, WA, at age 92. John started his first family before joining the Army Air Corps in 1943. He was a navigator on a B-24 "Liberator," later flying out of Japan for Northwest Airlines and C.A.T. Inc. Railway, retiring after 30+ years. Known for his love of children and animals, quick wit, and wanderlust, John always had something interesting to add to the conversation.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Thelma; sons Gary (Celia) Brown, Robert (Diane) Braun, Chris (Laura) Greig, John V. (Gilda) Brown, daughters Kathleen (Frank) McKee and Sheila (Pete) Theodoratos; grandchildren: Salina Greig, Brandon and Dustin Leonard, Natalie Moe, David, Sean, RuthAnne, Francheska, and Tina Marie Braun, and Vicky Brown; niece Faustina (John) Curry; nephew Shane Miller; and several great-grandchildren. We love you, Dad!
