Jule Romano, loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, passed away surrounded by family January 29, 2013, in Federal Way, WA. He was born October 3, 1931, in Seattle, WA, to Jule Romano and Mollie Kuxhouse where he grew up. He is survived by his wife Rita; three children, Michael, Martin and Julie; two brothers, Robert and Tony; sister Elsie Olson, and many grandchildren who loved him dearly. His career was in the construction industry where he founded and built a successful asphalt paving manufacturing and installation business in the Seattle area. Jule was a member of Rainier Golf and Country Club of Seattle for many years where he excelled in golf, as he did in all things he set his mind to. In addition to golf, Jule also enjoyed hunting, fishing and entertaining his many friends. After retirement Jule, along with his devoted wife, Rita, moved to Palm Desert, CA and belonged to Avondale Golf Club where he continued to torment lower-handicapped golfers for many years, especially when there was a bet on the line. Jule and Rita also maintained a residence in Hamilton, MT where they spent their summers and early autumns in order to escape the desert heat, be close to his son, Marty, and hunt Elk and Deer.

A celebration of Jule's life will be held at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15226 21st Avenue SW, Burien, WA, Monday, February 4, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers please make your donations to St. Francis Hospital, Federal Way, WA.
