Kathleen "Daute" Anderson

Kathleen "Daute" ANDERSON 92, long-time Edmonds resident formerly of Seattle, died April 22, 2003. She was born July 5, 1910 to Charles and Margaret Schwartz in Seattle. "Daute" was the youngest of ten. She was raised in Anacortes. She met and married George Anderson in 1934. Daute led an active life and was involved in GYROS, The Welcomers and Bridge Club. She had many friends of all ages who enjoyed her dearly. She is survived by her children Karen (Andy) Columbro, Susan (Dave) Putnam, Patricia Bauer, Richard (Jo) Anderson, and Robert (Janet) Anderson; 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; her sister Bernice "Bud" Hobbs; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George, and her grandson Michael Putnam. A Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Forest Park Civic Club, 17303 Beach Dr. N.E., Seattle.
