We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Keith and wish to pass on our sincere condolences and sympathy to Marilyn and all of the family. Being so far away, we just found out about Keith's death. He was truly a great man and genuine friend who always had a kind word and helpful gesture. His love of rodeo and sport brought our lives in contact and he became a close and supportive friend. We will always cherish the rodeo memories and time spent together when we were all living near each other in the Seeley-Swan Valley. We will miss you Keith!! Patrick, Linda and Payden Holt

I was sad to hear of Dr. Peterson's passing.
As a scared 16 year old (in the mid 70's) in foster care I went to see Dr Peterson because he was my mom's doctor & that made me feel somehow connected to her. He was my Dr. until he retired and moved to Montana. He was a great doctor with an hilarious bedside manner.
In my early years I always thought of him as the 7Up and Jello doctor, later he was just an amazing doctor that kept me healthy as the years went by. Later his son did the same with my knee. We're all lucky his legacy lives on in his children.
Rest in peace Dr. Peterson!

I was sorry to hear of Dr. Peterson's (Keith) passing. He was our team physician for the Edmond Warriors semi-pro
football team and I got to know him well as I was a frequent visitor to his Ballard office. I think he was responsible for my receiving the 'Doctors gauze and bandage award' at the yearend team banquet. I know Keith will be missed at Mike's Chili. I personally will miss him at the Blanchet high school football games. Marilyn I am deeply sorry for your loss. May you rest in peace Keith.

To Marilyn, It was a surprise on Sunday to read in the Seattle Times obituary section about Keith's passing . It got me thinking of all the years that I knew Marilyn especially in our roles as registered dietitians. I enjoyed hearing about and meeting all of your family and I will greatly miss Keith's presence, but may his memory be eternal. May you continue to have many blessings. Love from Evette Hackman.

Sympathy to you Marilyn and your boys and families upon the loss of Dr. Peterson. He was a respected member of our Magnolia community, helping with the Boy Scouts, as you also did Marilyn.
As well, he did wonderful work in the Seattle sports world, helping so many. May he rest in peace.

Keith was larger than life. A big personality and an even bigger heart. I'll always remember he said my whole name every time he saw me "Suzy Forman" . Even after I got married, he still said the whole name. He was a gem.

Es MemoriDr. Peterson was a pioneer in Sports Medicine who provided excellent medical care for athletes & coaches at Seattle Pacific University for many years. As the former Director of Athletics I have wonderful memories of working closely with Keith & his staff. I also received effective medical care as one of his many patients. He served tirelessly with warmth and humor.
With appreciation, Keith Phillips

Oh my goodness, memories flooded when I saw Dr. Peterson's picture in this morning's paper. I think I was his first receptionist /assistant at his office across from the Ballard Hospital. I once heard an incredible compliment about him, from a nurse in the Dr.'s office next door, who said he was a "great surgeon", praise even above the Dr. she worked for ! Dr. Peterson taught me a lot in the time I worked for him. He was a kind, happy man who unconditionally adored his family. He always gave tribute and positive lift to others, with a smile for everyone. I'm glad for him,to read of his accomplishments with all of the sport venues he cared for. I feel certain his children and grandchildren filled his heart with over-the-moon pride and happiness.
Peace to you Marilyn and to your precious family.

Keith was a man I greatly admired. I worked for him and Marlyn at their home and the clinic. I had a injury to my back that was successfully addressed by him. And I was given a stress test that identified me as Olympic level caliper! I am a arborist and horticulturist. He was so supportive and once took me out for lunch and we talked about nutrition. He also said some thing that I have never forgotten your back never forgets. At this time his son was accepted to medical school and he was so happy. Im hopeful that Keiths caring nature will be repeated. And Marylyn was also extremely gracious to those around her.
