Kiyoko Horikawa CHINN Kiyoko was born to Mr. & Mrs. Komakichi Horikawa who owned the Horikawa Hardware Company in Seattle. She went to the Deaconess School, and the Washington Middle School. 1938 she graduated from Highline High School. Kiyoko was married to Henry Chinn in 1941, but Proclamation 9066 separated them. Kiyoko went to Tule Lake, California War Relocation Center. She died in her sleep at retirement home in Tacoma. She was 84. Kiyoko leaves sister Heidi Kitayama (Tom) of Union City, California; brother Hideyoshi Horikawa (Norigiku). The service was conducted by the Tuell-McKee Funeral Home in Tacoma.
