Louise M. Drewelow

Louise M. Drewelow, 90, a long time Kirkland resident and current Wenatchee resident, died on Wednesday November 21, 2012 in Wenatchee. Louise was born to the late Anna and Donald Green on August 26,1922 in Alberta, Canada. Louise was raised in Kirkland and attended the Kirkland public schools. She graduated from Lake Washington High School in 1939. Upon graduation she attended Western Washington University. Louise later worked as a secretary for the Seattle Bon Marche. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Kirkland. Louise married her late husband, Kenneth R. Drewelow, MD on August 3, 1955. They were married 51 years. She is survived by a loving family, her step son, Richard Drewelow of Montgomery, Texas; step son and daughter-in-law James and Jane Drewelow of East Wenatchee,Wa; step daughter and son-in-law Janet and John Meihaus of Laguna Niguel, Ca; five grandsons, three granddaughters, four great-grandsons and one great granddaughter. Louise is survived by her sister Jean Lindsay and was preceded in death by her brother Willis, sister Valaria, and her first husband William Murtaugh.

A private family memorial service for Louise will take place at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, Wa. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Jones & Jones - Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee, Wa.
