Adrian SADOSKI Obituary

Adrian S. SADOSKI

"Ace" & "Len"

Our beloved father and grandfather was born Dec. 17, 1925, in St. Cloud, MN, and passed away on Apr. 22, 2013, in Shoreline, WA at age 87. Adrian was the 3rd of 6 children born to Stanley and Catherine (Brenny) Sadoski. From a young age, his sense of responsibility and love of sports ran deep. He had a perfect attendance record during his first 8 years of school, and he earned high school varsity letters in several sports. After graduating from Cathedral High School, Adrian enlisted in the Navy at age 17. During WWII, his intelligence earned him a position as a signaler on ships in Alaska and the South Pacific. Following his honorable discharge, he attended Seattle University and made accounting his profession. He was a master of numbers and puzzles, and no jigsaw puzzle was too hard for him - even when two identical 2000-piece puzzles were mixed together and given to him with no picture or edge pieces. Adrian especially enjoyed nature's beauty and loved to camp, fish and bowl. He had an incredible sense of humor, loved jokes, and never failed to draw a smile when telling them. On Jul. 21, 1946, he married Arlene Jensen, and their 2 children were born 5 and 8 years later. Their love for each other and their family was as strong as humanly possible. Arlene's death in 2008 separated them and Adrian suffered from a broken heart until his passing in 2013. They are survived by their son Dale Sadoski and daughter-in-law Linda, daughter Susan Nilson, grandchildren Jeff, Brian, Ryan, Erik, Tiffany, Adam, and Kyle; great-grandchildren Conner, Morgan, Courtney, Taylor, and Meghan; granddaughters-in-law Bettie, Jennifer, and Martha; and many nieces and nephews. Although Adrian and Arlene will be sorely missed, we take comfort in knowing they are together again.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends.
