Bertha Lincoln Obituary

Bertha Taylor Lincoln

1921 ~ April 21, 2014

Life-long learner, teacher, wife, mother and friend. Bertha graduated from Arizona State, and earned a Masters from Columbia University. She taught at Eastern Washington College where she met and fell in love with her husband of 52 years, Robert C Lincoln. Upon retiring from teaching at Shoreline Schools, Bertha and Bob lived on beautiful Cherry Hill in Granger, later moving to Ocean Shores. Upon Bob's death Bertha lived in Woodinville, and later, Kirkland. She loved reading and a challenging discussion and spent many happy years at Brittany Park. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, her parents, Jay and Margaret Taylor, and her sister Alcie. She will be missed and loved forever by her daughters and their families: Carrie Cramer (John), Geri Lincoln (Gordon Bermant), Paula Peterson (Ric), and Norma Bethea (Mack). She also leaves behind two sisters, Goldie Travis, and Margaret Dawn Harris (Ed), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will always remember her smile, her loving spirit, and her passion for education. Rest well in heaven Mom!
