I will admit I was much closer to Ed but Beryle was always very good to me and my brothers, and later, my niece and nephew. The Wynakos' house was such a comfort to us growing up, and even now I think of the pristine living room with all the Greek statues, the kitchen that always smelled so good, and the rec room where the conversations and laughs always happened, the garage filled with Ed's tools..... my mom even got married in that house and we did Greek dancing in that rec room! Being one house away from Ed & Beryle always made us feel safe, and now that they are both gone, it feels like the best parts of my childhood years are really gone too. Beryle you were a class act, you called me every year on my birthday, you gave me refuge on more than one occasion, and I will miss you dearly.

Jennie, Jay and Lucas, I am so sorry for your loss. I think I only met your Mom once, at Jennies B-day party, but she WAS full of LIFE and LAUGHTER!
Hugs to you all....

Mike, Jenny and Stacy and all your families, I am very sad about Beryle. She was always the one I called when needed ( everytime my parents were out of town!) and she came running. May peace be with you now and later. Love Ann Daniels Launders

Beryle was a FORCE! I didn't know her very well, but the couple of times I went to a party at Jennie and Jays, I enjoyed her so much. She was full of laughter and she made me laugh too. Jennie - you were so blessed to have her! Isn't it a wonderful thing to know that she is with our Savior! What a good thing to know and be sure about. We love you!

My childhood memories center around the Wynakos family and our Esperance neighborhood. Beryle is a wonderful woman, a force for good, and I'm so grateful she passed away in peace and relative comfort to join our Savior and family who passed before her.

Stacy, Jennie, Mike:
Much sadness in Esperance...we have lost a good, and always cheerfull friend. I still also miss the annual plate of Baklava your Dad and Mom always delivered at Chrismas time! Great memories! Maybe they can make it up there. My condolence to you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Beryle was a pillar in our little neighborhood. I will never forget the "adult" Greek parties with the glasses shattering in the corners. Also, the year she bought the plastic and was in big trouble. Love and hugs to your family.
