I regret I only had one opportunity to meet Betty, but found to her to be every bit as gracious as I anticipated, through the warm wishes and tokens of support she expressed towards me and my family, through correspondence. Betty certainly left a wonderful legacy, through her example and exceptional family! Thank you for sharing this!

I first met Betty in 1974 when I hired her to work with insurance companies as a "Rehabilitation Specialist" (today known as a Medical Case Manager)When marketing with me she would repeat my words verbatim --I asked her if she had a recorder in her pocket - but she just memorized my words. Betty again worked for me managing a nursing agency and paramedical company in Seattle. Several years after that she hired me to open a nursing agency in Portland, OR.From our first meeting we remained close friends all these years. Although we haven't seen each other often in the past few years she has always remained one of my "favorite" ladies. Lady she was - a kind, compassionate person who would do anything for you. I will miss you, Betty and you will always be in my heart until we meet again. Love always.

I have many fond memories of visiting with Betty, from a very young age to more recent years. I remember her love of reading and how she said she recorded the name of each book she read--often one a day! She will be missed. What a lovely lady. Love, Arel

Betty, you will be missed by so many. Family, although separated by miles, is always in your heart. We all live our unique individual lives but yet feel a deep sadness when our family faces a loss like this. With much love.

Betty was one of my best friends for over 30 years. She and I clicked the first time we met and remained close through good times and challenging times. She inspired me having been a stay-at-home mom to a wonderful husband and four remarkable children Then she became an incredibly successful career woman many times over. Betty had a kind and generous heart. And she lived in integrity with herself and what she felt God had created her to be. We shared many stories, tears and laughter. It was safe to be myself with her. Betty may have left this world but she has not left my heart. Her spirit and legacy live on in her beloved family and friends. To have known Betty Favorite was to have been touched by an angel. Betty, I miss you so much and believe that we will be together again someday, somewhere. In the meantime, I rejoice in the memories. I love you more.

While I was never fortunate to meet you, Mrs. Favorite, I have been honored to be a friend of Kim's for the past 22 years. My condolences to your family and friends.
