Hi Roy.
Thinking of you and wanted you to know that I sure loved Bev. I got a card in the mail and it reminded me of Bev's thoughtful computerized cards for my birthday and Christmas. She would be glad to know that I now work at Everett CC and still working as a volunteer at the Skagit festival of trees. Again, we met when she was my volunteer in Volunteer Services at Everett CC. She was very special and wise, and I am happy that she was part of my life. I hope that you are doing good, enjoying the sunshine, going back and forth from Edmonds to CA... and having quality family time. What a lady~ Take care. Kim

Mrs. Funk was my advisor and teacher at Everett Community College from 1978-1980 when I graduated. She was a wonderful teacher and was always there with a kind word. Her classes were always a joy to attend. My condolences to you all.

Roy and Family - Bev was my secretarial teacher at Everett Community College 1970-1971. She was a wonderful teacher and had a gentle, kind manner about her. After graduating from ECC, Bev and I worked on a secretarial advisory committee together for several years. We always had a good chat. She was a loving woman! Then I would see her around Stanwood and chat with her more :) I had lost track of her in the last several years... so sorry to find out where she lived via her obit.
You are blessed to have had her in your life. I pray the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, will comfort you, give you courage to go on, and give you peace.
Blessings,
JoAnn Heichel

Roy and family, I am deeply saddened by Bererley's passing. She was one of a kind. She so enjoyed giving her annual Christmas Brunch's and I felt so privileged to be invited. All who knew her will miss greatly. Sincere condolences.

I loved this lady! Beverley Funk was my "volunteer" assistant when I worked at Providence Everett Medical Center in Volunteer Services. She was a beautiful person. She had spunk! She was prompt! She had technology skills ... and was not afraid to learn new technology! She brightened my days ... and I had the opportunity to see her last year, when she volunteered (as she usually did) for the Skagit Valley Festival of Trees. We took our picture taken together and I remember her last hug! God bless her family and friends. She will be missed but not forgotten. She often talked about her son passing, and glad that she will get to see him again......... God Bless! Kim Menne

My condolences to Mrs. Funk's family. She was a great instructor at Everett Community College. I was a work-study student in the business division for three years in the late 70's and early 80's, and she took me under her wing and was a wonderful mentor. I fondly remember dinners at her house and house sitting at Camano Island for her. She taught me many valuable skills that I still use in my career today. She was a great lady.
