Bonnie Guest Obituary

Bonnie (Baker) GUEST Age 73, died quietly October 18, 2011, at home. Memorial service to be held Saturday, October 29th - 11:00 a.m. at Calvin Presbyterian Church, Shoreline. Deacon, BSF member, PTA President, Seafair Princess. Married to Jim Guest, she was his 'gray fox' for 45 sweet years and will always be. A rose among thorns, Bonnie mothered four sons to survive her - Doug, Rich, Jim, and Wes - who she cared for every day and in every way. Also a grandmother, she sacrificed and loved her grandkids as if they were her own; Joe, Ann, Noah, Ala, Mia and Ryan will miss her dearly. Twin brothers, Ron and Don Baker, and their families, also survive her and loved her deeply. Bonnie was the catalyst of faith in her family, and many of those closest to her have been forever changed by her example of love for her Savior. She lost her battle with cancer but waits with the Lord for us in victory!

I served as a deacon with Bonnie, at Calvin Presbyterian Church. Bonnie was a loving and giving person. She was always so positive and patient. I also remember her as a very proud Grandma who loved her grandchildren so very much. She enjoyed being involved in their lives.
Many hearts are saddened with the loss of Bonnie. Know that God is with you in your sorrow and His spirit will comfort you.

To Bonnie's family:
I knew Bonnie years ago at Bethel Presbyterian when we were all in the youth group together. I am so sorry for your loss. I last saw her at Lillian Hancock's memorial service at Calvin. She was always a bubbly happy person with a smile on her face. She will be missed. She joins my sister, Bev in heaven. I hope they are having a great time rejoicing together in the Lord Jesus along with several others from our old youth group that are now there as well. May God comfort you, her family who have been left behind. May all your wonderful memories of her be your joy in the days ahead.
