Brian Robert Dixon

Brian Robert Dixon born June 21, 1959 went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2012. He valiantly battled cancer for three years. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. He continued his career as Vice President of Finance for the Seattle Super Sonics. Later, he was co-founder and CFO of F5 Networks. Finally, he was Vice President of Finance for WaterTectonics in Everett, WA. Throughout his life, his passion was tennis and would play as often as possible. He enjoyed many challenging matches at Harbor Square, Edmonds and Columbia Athletic Club, Silver Lake. He is survived by his greatest delights, his children, Alexandra, Christian, Isabella. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marian, and sister, Cindy. He loved the Lord and pursued a relationship with Jesus Christ. He enjoyed spending time with his children and was surrounded by them at the time of his death. Brian's remains will be interned at Edmonds Memorial Cemetery during a private family service. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life Friday, August 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm at University Presbyterian Church, 4540-15th Avenue Northeast, Seattle, WA 98105. Brian always loved flowers, being raised by a woman whose passion it was to grow them. Brian's children would find deep meaning in any floral memorial gifts you may wish to give. Our hearts go out to Alexandra and the family. We have very fond memories of your Dad and the family as we shared time together through King's Schools and later at Lake Cavanaugh. He generously hosted one of our after-homecoming activities and was so gracious.
We will remember him fondly and take comfort that he is with Our Lord. Please stay in touch. May God comfort you and give you peace.
