Corinne Garberding Obituary
Corinne "Corky" Garberding passed away at her home in Shoreline, WA on December 23rd. Corky was born in Seattle in 1948 to Mary Ann and William Huxford. She grew up in Seattle and was a graduate of Rainier Beach High School.
Corky married Terry Garberding in 1967 and together they built a small landscaping business which she was actively involved in until she retired. Corky was a lover of gardening and a great cook, but will be remembered most for her wonderful giving spirit and the many people she touched throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband of almost 48 years, Terry Garberding, sons Brook and Terry, sister Maureen, and brothers William "Chuck" and Richard as well as numerous extended family and close friends including Harry Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother John.
A viewing will be held at St. Matthews Catholic Church, Friday January 2nd, 2015 from 10:00-11:00am with Mass immediately following. There will be a reception following the Mass. A graveside ceremony for family and close friends will be held at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in the afternoon.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance or Disabled Veterans of America.
