David Woods Obituary
David A. Woods was born in Whittier, CA on September 4, 1943 to Leonard and Margaret Woods. He was raised in Whittier before moving to Seattle to attend the University of Washington where he earned a BA in Business & Accounting.
After serving in Vietnam, Dave worked for over 30 years with the Safeco Credit Company. Although he enjoyed and was dedicated to his work, his real passions were the frequent adventures with his wife that took them all over the world and typically involved a bicycle. Dave was also actively involved at Calvin Presbyterian Church and the Eagle's Nest Foundation.
Dave passed away on Sunday, December 16th after a battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Lynn, sons Bryan (Sara & granddaughter Willa) and Allyn (Richelle & granddaughter Addison), and sister Marilyn Taylor (and Dick).
A memorial reception will be held at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 18826 3rd Avenue Northwest, Shoreline, WA on December 20th at 2:00 p.m. Remembrances can be made in Dave's name to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

My cousin David and I were close buddies while we were growing up. I remember the fun times we had in Whittier. Rest in peace and in the love of the Lord.
