Donald Huston Obituary

Donald Ervin Huston

Don was born November 15, 1923 to Otis and Amelea Huston in Sidney, Montana.

He passed away Oct. 10, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ella; daughter: Marlene McManigal (John); sons: Doug Huston (Joy) and Robert Huston (Karla); 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Don is preceded in death by his daughter Cynthia Ann.

Don graduated from Sidney High School. He attended U of W, Seattle, in Civil Engineering. He served in the US Navy on the USS Stephen Potter DD538 1943-1945.

He worked for the Washington State Department of Transport-ation retiring in Nov. 1975. Don & Ella enjoyed 37 years of retirement travelling extensively. He was founder and first pres-ident of the USS Stephen Potter Reunion Organization. He and Ella

have been members of Ronald United Methodist Church since 1948.

A memorial service will be held at Ronald United Methodist Church, on Friday Oct 26th at 3:00 p.m. 17839 Aurora Ave N. Shoreline WA
