Doris Hendrickson Obituary
January 23, 1930 ~ September 23, 2014
Doris died peaceably at Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community. She was married to her husband, Glen, for 62 years. Their family includes 3 daughters, Anne, Joan and Sue. Her family also includes 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, her sister Shirley and many nieces and nephews.
Doris served as a nurse in many settings, including the TB Sanatarium for Navajo Indians in Boulder Colorado, The University of Michigan Medical Center & The Swedish Tumor Institute. She worked in the Delivery Room & in nursing homes. Doris spent the last 20 years of her nursing career with oncology patients.
Thank you Doris for more than 40 years of nursing service and a lifetime of family & friends care.
A Celebration of Doris's life will be held at First Lutheran Church of Richmond Beach, Thursday October, 9, 2014 at 10:00am, 18354 8th Ave NW, Shoreline, WA 98177
All are welcome.
