Dorothy Crawford Obituary
Dorothy (Dottie) CRAWFORD Born in Huxley, Iowa to Clarence and Margaret Berhow on12/31/1918. Dottie passed away5/16/12. She was one of four girls in the Berhow family who followed their Dad and Mom out to Seattle, where he was seeking shipyard work in 1942. Here in Seattle Dottie met the love of her life Harold (Hal) Crawford while working at Goodyear. They fell in love and married on 7/29/1949. Soon a family was formed in the Northwest where they enjoyed 63 years together, raising a family and traveling and playing golf together. Dottie was a member of the ladies golf club at the Nile Shrine Center. Dorothy leaves behind her husband Hal, sister Mildred Sheldahl, daughter Joann Bushnell and her husband Bill, grandson Andrew Bushnell, granddaughters Amy Thomas and Jennifer Burch, and three great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed as part of our life. Memorial Service will be at Bethel Lutheran Church of Shoreline, 17418 - 8th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155 on 5/26/12 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethel Lutheran Church or Shriners Hospital.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
