Douglas Freund Obituary
Douglas Allen Freund, 65, died April 9, 2017. He was born on September 25, 1951 to George and Lyla Freund. He graduated from Shorecrest High School class of 1970. Doug had a successful career for over 40 plus years as a Master Electrician with IBEW Local 46. Doug wed the love of his life Wendy on August 26, 1990. Together they loved to travel, their favorite place to visit was the Cooks Islands. Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and boating. Doug has joined his beloved mother Lyla, who preceded him in death in March 2006. Doug is survived by wife Wendy Freund, father George Freund, aunt Eltha Tandy, brother Steve Freund and Melinda Darden, nephew Shane Freund, along with many beloved family members.

I don't even know if you are monitoring this page still. I was going down memory lane and was looking to connect with Doug. He was my husbands best man in our wedding back in 1972. He was a great friend and companion to me when Rocco (my husband) was in the Navy. Rocco recently passed away which is really why I was trying to find Doug. My heat goes out to all of Doug's family.
