Ella Huston Obituary
Ella was born April 20, 1925 to Virgil and Ruth Hawley in Fairview, Montana. She passed away on April 10, 2013. She is survived by her daughter Marlene McManigal (John), sons Doug Huston (Joy), and Robert Huston (Karla); 7 grandchildren and 5 great-great children. Ella is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Donald E. Huston and her daughter Cynthia Ann. Ella started her career working in banking and then trust account tax preparation. She and Don enjoyed 37 years of retirement traveling extensively. Ella was active with the United Methodist Women organization as well as very active in many church activities. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and learning different crafts such as knitting and sewing. The family would like to thank Aegis of Shoreline, Callahan House and Aegis Memory Care of Kent for their exceptional care and facilities where Don and Ella lived since Feb. 2009. A memorial service will be held at Ronald United Methodist Church on Friday April 26th at 3:00 p.m., 17839 Aurora Ave N., Shoreline WA. Ella and Don were members of Ronald United Methodist Church since 1948. Ella was the oldest sister in our family. She was a second mother to most of the younger siblings in our family of 12 kids. She was a wonderful, loving person and an awesome mom, and grandma! She and her husband Don were two of the finest people you would ever meet. I'm so proud to have had her influence in my life. I miss her everyday. May you rest in piece my dear sister!! Love you much!!!

Ella was a lovely lady and Ron and I enjoyed their visits in Alaska when they stopped over in Anchorage on their cruises. I pray that Ella and Ron are having a great reunion in heaven, with other family members and the Lord and his angels. My sympathy to all of Ella's family.

This is my dear older sister. She was the mainstay of our family, and we will all miss her dearly. I know she is back with her beloved Don and others from our large family. Am sure they have a family reunion all set up. Much love to her kids and grand kids. I love them all. Will be there to celebrate her life.
