Ellen Hanvey Obituary
Ellen was born December 22, 1921 to Grave Laura (Gee) and Walter Vreeland in Everett, WA. She died at age 90 on June 16, 2012 in Olympia, WA. She lived in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle over 60 years.
Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, July 7, 2012, 2:00 P.M., Trinity Methodist Church, 6512 23rd Avenue N.W., Seattle. Remembrance donations can be made in Ellen's honor to Shoreline Community College. On-line memories can be noted in her guestbook at

It was with mixed feelings that I read your mom's obituary yesterday. She had a long and rich life but it's hard to 'let go'. I knew her when she attended Snohomish Methodist Church; she always had smiles and spread warmth wherever she was. Our paths crossed at she attended my prayer class, and we were in worship and in women's fellowship groups together. Ellen really was a treasure! I feel so honored to have known her. My prayers are with you as you say good bye and recall many happy memories with her. May they bring healing to you.
