Ester Musacchia Obituary

Ester L. Musacchia

In loving memory of Ester (Lopez) Musacchia ("Mrs. Ester") who passed away peacefully in the presence of the Lord on September 13, 2015 at 85. Ester was born on 03/20/1930 in Hungerford, Texas to Ishmael and Carmen Lopez. They moved later to Spokane, WA where the family has established deep roots in the community and many family members still live today. Ester later moved with her husband and two children to Lake Forest Park, WA where she remained. Ester spent 25 years working at the Shoreline School District as a para-educator. She touched many lives and loved her work with the school, teachers and all the students. She loved quilting, gardening, sewing, scrapbooking, movies and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Esterlita (Donald) George; son Denis (Heidi) McBride; her granddaughters Ilia (Aaron) Heath, Alexis (Bart) Kooyman, Natalie (Dustin) Treib, Selina McBride, Grace McBride, and Sara McBride; her great grandchildren Carmen Fawcett, Sydney Treib, Anabelle Fawcett, Madison Kooyman, Bailey Kooyman, Brooke Kooyman, and Hunter Treib; and her siblings Ishmael Lopez Jr., Elizabeth Burt, Marsoqueo Lopez, Rachel Macri, Nicanor Lopez, and Martha Burge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Musacchia and her father and mother. Memorial services will be held in her hometown of Spokane, WA at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of the Northwest Foundation (HNWF) who cared for Ester with compassion, gentleness, and respect. Her life will not be forgotten and her presence will always be felt... rest in peace.
