Esther McGuinn Obituary
Esther (Essye) M. McGuinn was born February 25, 1926 to Frieda and Peter Miller in Laurel, Montana. She passed away suddenly September 20, 2016 in Edmonds, WA. She was predeceased September, 2014 by her beloved husband, Charles W. McGuinn. Survived by children, Laurie Lusier, Julee McGuinn, and Ryan (Laura) McGuinn as well as grandchildren, Christine (Jason) Jacobsen, Nicole (Joseph) Martin, Andrew and James McGuinn; great grandchildren, Dominic and Grace Martin, and Zachary Jacobsen; brother, Donald Miller, sister-in-law, Sally Miller, brother-in-law, Joseph McGuinn (Patricia), and many cherished nieces and nephews. Essye was a registered nurse who earned her R.N. and Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Montana College where she met her future husband. She was in the Women's Army Corps while in college. She was a 65-year member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, participated in several bridge groups, and enjoyed spending time with her many friends. Memorial service, Richmond Beach Congregational Church, 1512 NW 195th St., Shoreline, WA 98177, Saturday, October 1, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to any one of the following: Richmond Beach Congregational Church; Mary's Place, PO Box 1711, Seattle, WA 98111-1711; or Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave., Edmonds, WA 98020.
