Florence Shapiro Obituary
Florence Shapiro passed away on January 11, 2017 in Shoreline, Washington at the age of 97. She was born on July 13, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. She is survived by her son Michael (Joana), daughter Jean (Mario), grandchildren Rebecca (Cameron), Joel (Melissa), Maya (Daniel), and Rosalynn, and four great grandchildren, Joshua, Lanie, Rachael, and Koa. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard and four brothers, Robert, Max, Irving, and Edwin. Particular thanks go to caregivers Esther, Haddy, Paige, Iona, and Mike for making Florence's last months as comfortable as possible.
