Gary Bjarnason Obituary
Gary Kay Bjarnason, 76, was born on July 13, 1941 in Ballard and passed away March 26, 2018. He had resided in Shoreline since 1965. He was the beloved husband of Diane Lee Bjarnason, married for 59 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Kjartan Bjarnason and mother, Elaine Bjarnason. Gary is survived by his wife Diane, daughters, Debbi Crane and husband Biff, Denise Johnson and husband Chris, two grandsons, Garrett and Tyler Johnson.
Gary worked for Boeing for 45 years and retired in 2008. His passions were spending time on their boat exploring The San Juan and Gulf Islands. He loved spending time with family and friends.
There will not be a funeral service per his wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research Foundation. Sign Gary's on-line Guest Book, www.Legacy.com

Hej Diane, always a sad moment when one reads the name of an old acquaintance in the "In Memoriam" section of the paper. Nothing but good memories of Gary.

Am saddened to her of Debbie's Dad's passing. I met him a number of times, and thought he was a fine gentleman. His daughter, Debbie Crane and husband, Biff, are old friends of mine, and I wish to share my sympathies with them, and the entire family. God Bless Gary, and May Gary rest in peace!!
