Glenn Johnstone Obituary
Age 84, passed away suddenly from heart complications on June 12, 2015, in Edmonds, Washington, surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 21, 1930 in Seattle, Washington. Glenn is survived by his wife of 30 years, Peggy, and their combined family of children; Gayle Brennan, Bob (Eileen) Johnstone, Larry (Deborah) Johnstone, Sandy (Bob) Enselman, Tom (Lisa) Hovind and Katie (Dave) Ghenov, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son Ted. A Celebration of Life Service and reception will be held at Berean Bible Church on Friday, June 19th at 1pm at 2345 N 185th St, Shoreline WA 98133; 206-363-1466

Peggy, Stacy and I just heard the news about Glenn. We are so sorry for your loss. Glenn was the neatest guy. I always looked forward to him stopping by to chat. We were always on the lookout on the river to see if you guys were up there or not so we could visit a bit. He will be missed. We plan to stop by the river house and say a little prayer. We love you.

So many great Memories!!!
Cotty's Mother Hazel 64 years ago this month & Bill's Aunt provided the flowers from their gardens and decorated the Church for our wedding. Howard's and Bill's adventures as young men and Barbara's daughters and ours in Lake Forest Park and Shoreline Schools. The parking lot tent camping ski adventure of our son & daughter where Cotty took pity on them and invited them into their trailer at meal times is etched in memories. For almost 3 years Cotty, Peggy and other Members of the Berean Bible Church shared their TLC with my Bill on Sunday Mornings at the Richmond Beach Rehab Center. We are forever grateful for the long time association of the Schoening Family with the Johnstone Family.

We will surely miss Glenn . His friendly smile and willingness to be of service to anyone and everyone showed his genuine love for the Lord and care for people. He was a guy who got things done! No grass ever grew under his feet! I consider it a blessing to have known him and will remember my fellow Pepsi drinker with fondness. I pray you feel God's love and peace at this time. He leaves you all with a rich heritage of love.
