Gordon Helman Obituary
Gordon "Gordie" J. Helman, age 81, passed away suddenly 11/17/13. Born and raised in Butte Montana, he spent most of his adult life in Shoreline WA with his beloved wife Grace who preceded him in death in 2010. Memorial service will be held at Northlake Unitarian Chapel 315 3rd Avenue South, Kirkland at 2:00 PM on Saturday, 11/23/2013. All are welcome.

Gordie, Now I understand why you quit writing. Corresponding with you and Grace since meeting you on a cruise on The Azur in the 70's was such a pleasure. I miss our exchanges.

Now, I understand why I haven't heard from Gordie. Gordie, Grace and I met on a Caribbean Cruise decades ago, and Gordie and I corresponded all those years. I really miss him.

Gordie, i miss you dearly. Your death was so sudden but now, i know you are in a happy place. It looks like Heaven needed you more than us. They gained an angel. You were my card playing buddy and you always managed to beat me. You were such a loving, kind, man and i am grateful to have known you. I enjoyed our conversations and our laughs together. You let me call you grandpa and I was your niece. Your jokes will be missed. Ill look for you in heaven, save a place for me. Love always, your caretaker and friend, Patricia
