Grace McKenney Obituary
Grace McKenney passed away February 26th. Born August 30, 1912 in Seattle, WA to William T. McKenney and Emma Jones McKenney. She was the youngest of five children. She attended Greenlake Elementary and Roosevelt High School, graduating in 1930. She lived for awhile in Portland, OR before starting a career as an administrative secretary for the diplomatic corps of the military, followed by a position with the State Department. Her travels took her all over the world, mostly to Japan and the Middle East. She retired to Florida where she spent a few years before moving back to Seattle to be closer to family. Her later years were spent at Cristwood and then Crista Nursing Center in Shoreline. She is survived by two nieces, four nephews and their families.
