Jeffrey SANDERS Obituary
Born March 4, 1967 in Pasadena, CA; died unexpectedly July 29, 2012 in Seattle. Survived by Leslie, his loving wife of 12 years; his son, Marckus; his mom, Kristina; dad, Benjamin; step-mother, Kathryn; sister, Nicole; brother, Michael; sister-in-law, BethAnn; a large and loving extended family, and many many friends. Preceded in death in 2002, by his brother, Aaron.
Jeff was raised in Southern California and the Oregon Coast, where he fished for Dungeness crab. He joined the National Guard in the late 80's and continued to fish in the Pacific Ocean, which he loved very much. Jeff moved to Seattle and met Leslie in 1996; they were married in 2000. Together they shared their love of movies, traveling, and animals, especially their cats, Butler and Julien. Jeff was also an enthusiastic automobile racing fan. A favorite past time was nature photography. Jeff was a devoted cyclist, he enjoyed both mountain and road bikes.

Les - I loved Jeff like my own brother. We all spent a lot of time together and there are a lot of great memories from birthdays to Halloween to Christmas. We all think about him all the time and that will never change.

We continue to hold you up in prayer for peace and consolation in the hard days ahead of you. Over the past few weeks I have been thinking about our fun childhood memories with Jeff and Aaron. The one that keeps coming to mind is one of our marathon Monopoly games that we played on one of our visits to Oregon. I think we all stayed up until 4am playing! I believe he is in great company now and I pray that his loving spirit will comfort you on a daily basis. My dear nephew I remember walking with you holding your hand and even changing your diaper. You always let your Aunt Mary know how much you loved me and my children.
