JENNIE GULICK Obituary
Jennie GULICK 1917 ~ 2012 Jennie Elizabeth Popham Gulick was born in Canada in 1917 to Marie Adella Albert Popham and Nathaniel Edmond Popham. Jennie, sister Mary, parents and grandparents moved to Seattle in 1919. Jennie attended Greenwood Elementary and Ballard High School. In 1934 Jennie married the love of her life, Walter Jay Gulick. Jennie became a real estate broker, was the first woman to serve on the board of the North End Broker's Associa tion and with Walter, started Shoreline Realty. They built their retirement home on Whidbey, and it became the site of family get-togethers. Jennie had lifelong friendships from her years in Seattle and she added new friends from the Senior Center on Whid bey. Jennie and Walter left to their family a legacy of endless patience and kindness, of pulling together in bad times, celebrat ing together in good times and being there for each other always. Jennie is survived by her daughter Gayle Cardwell (Richard), grandchildren Dayle Gray (David), Kimberly Cerra, and Brandon Nelson (LeAnne), eight great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
