Jennifer Dahl Obituary

Jennifer Ann Dahl

Jennifer Ann was born February 25, 1973 to Robert and Martha Haines in Tacoma, WA. Her first five years of life were spent moving around the Puget Sound area, finally settling in Kingsgate (Kirkland) in 1978 where Jennifer met her lifelong friends. She met the love of her life, Jason Dahl in 1992. They married on September 22nd 2002, and made Monroe their home for the past 12 years.

Jennifer graduated from Juanita High School in 1991 and Shoreline Community College in 1993. She was employed at David Munson and Associates after spending many years with AT&T Wireless in Redmond, WA.

Jen lit up the lives of her family and devoted friends. You couldn't forget her. She made everyone feel special with her kindness and welcoming smile. She never thought of herself as a funny person, but wherever she was, there was a chorus of laughter. Jen exemplified loyalty, compassion and kindness. You'd never hear an unkind word from her and she lived a life that others should aspire to.

Jen was the best daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Just ask her family and friends. And she adored assuming those roles, especially mother. Jennifer's proudest creation was her daughter Morgan (a spitting image of Jen) who was born on August 19th 2005.

Jen, and her unborn child, died peacefully December 8th in her sleep. She was far too young to leave us. But her spirit will live on through her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jason; daughter, Morgan, parents

Robert and Martha Haines and sister, Emily Haines. She is preceded in death by her grand-parents, Minard and Helen Haines, Dean and Genevieve Slader.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Washington Christian Church, 343 - 15th Ave. Kirkland, WA 98033, at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 13th.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Jennifer's name to the American Heart Association.

Words cannot express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel about Jen's passing. I keep reminding myself that a person who departs this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, and through us, they live on - Jen will never be forgotten! And although we have lost her physical presence, I believe that God has assigned Jen to watch over Morgan and the rest of the family throughout the rest of their lives on this earth.

Jen, I remember the first time I met you: all smiles and so kind. As we spent more time together I was in awe of what a wonderful person that was in my life. Your heart is so caring and pure; you truly made the world a better place. You are an amazing mother and you can see so much of you in Morgan. May you and your baby rest peacefully and your family find comfort in the lovely memories you created and be embraced in God's arms. Love you!

Jennifer was a lovely neighbor who always had a smile for us. She exuded gentleness and appeared to be a genuinely kind woman. We wish that we could have formed a closer bond with her. This was not to be but I will always treasure and remember our "front yard chats".
"Jason and Morgan are in our thoughts and prayers". Jennifer and her unborn child will be a cherished addition in the Heavenly realm of her Faith.

Jen, my heart is broken at our loss of you. I'll never forget the day you bounced over to see our puppies when you were just a kid. You went home and told your dad that these new people down the street wanted to join you guys for dinner out that night. You brought all of our Kingsgate families together in a bond that will never end. Bob and I will always think of you as partially our daughter, too. Our hearts go out to Jason and darling Morgan and Emily and Bob and Martha. Life will never be the same without your lovely person in it.

Jennie and my Daughter, Nicole were the best of friends from the time they met in Junior High School until Jennie's death this week. She literally became a part of our family and I love her like one of my own. I will miss her smile and her warmth. We also love Morgan and Jason and hope to continue to see them often. I send my love and condolences to Martha, Bob, Jason, and extra to Morgan.

Losing our beloved Jennifer will change our lives forever. But more importantly, she changed our lives forever during the all too brief time that we had with her. She was a bright shining light for us.
Jen had become the best daughter that a man could hope for. As a dedicated wife, mother and friend, she enhanced the lives of so many people. We are just so very proud of the way Jennifer lived her life! Her spirit will live in our hearts forever. Thank you, Jennifer, for a life well lived, although far too short. For all who knew her, may the strength and guidance from God help us all in this unimaginably difficult time.

Jen,
You were my first friend that I remember, and a life-long friend since Kindergarten. Even though there were times when we didn't see each other for long periods, it was always like jumping back right where we left off. Thank you for always having your soft, quiet smile, kind heart and your joyful spirit. I have so many fun memories of spending time with you- from soccer, swimming, Washington D.C., graduation and sharing about our loves and our kids. Your love for your friends and family shone in everything you did and everything about you. Thank you for being that friend. You are so missed.

XXOO Always,
Christy
