Jess - Well you did it. You stayed close to God, raised a great family and now stand with the Lord in Paradise.Well deserved!! Life on this earth is difficult and you left it a better place than when you entered it. Please tell God that Sharee's husband loves Him first eternally and then tell Sharee that her husband sends her his eternal love. I'll bet that sailing is great in heaven with a glassy sea and just the right amount of wind at your back. (But I bet golf is still a test). Take care and pray for us. Love, your friend - Jerry Olson

Jess Kritsis will long be remembered by us as an exceptional Bible teacher who brought the Word alive by his knowledge of the Koine Greek language. He was a sweet man and carefully tended the flock at EBC while we were without an official pastor. We will never forget his careful teaching of Ephesians during those months.
Our sympathies to the family. He will be greatly missed, but we know he has been met with a hero's welcome in his eternal home.

What a wonderful friend Jess has been to us over the past 35 years!
Jess was the most disciplined person and a perfectionist in everything he did. This was so evident in the building and sailing of the beautiful Angela K, their 48 foot sailboat, which we had the pleasure of enjoying with them in the San Juans. He loved to sail and was an exceptional captain, who knew the stars in the heavens so well, he could navigate by the stars.
Jess was a dedicated family man to his closely knit family.
Among so many other things, we enjoyed a month long, wonderful trip to Greece with Jess and Angie, staying with family and touring the whole country with the two of them. His vast knowledge of Greek history and the hospitality of their families, helped to make it an unforgettable experience.
Jess loved the word of God. He was a dedicated Bible scholar and teacher, studying in the original Greek. We all learned from, and enjoyed his teaching immensely, as well as Biblical conversations,. There are many, many bible study tapes from his classes.
As a believer in salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, we know that he is in heaven and we look forward to seeing him there.
