Jimmie E. WARREN Jimmie passed away August 6, 2011 after a sudden diagnosis of acute leukemia. He was 80 years old. He is at peace now and his life was filled with being a small business owner, a life time member of Shoreline Rotary, a seaman in the Coast Guard, and a husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He enjoyed quarter midget racing with his children, golfing, camping, and traveling with his wife and family, and puttering in his shop. The past few years he devoted his life to caring for Marjorie, his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, son and daughter, 5 step-daughters, 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. "Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28. I can't believe it's been ten years, dear Jimmie. We still talk about you and remember you as if it were yesterday, and you were still here with us. We will always treasure our memories of you, here at the Museum and at Shoreline Rotary.

Marge and family, I am so sorry to see that Jim passed away. I had no idea. One of my favorite memories of Jim was his airplane he made out of beer cans and gave to my grandson when he was very small. Kol thought that was the greatest plane and Jim was his special friend. He loved to go see "JIM". :) Sometimes I think he liked to come stay with grandma so he could 'go see Jim'.

In Shoreline Rotary I met Jimmie and was given the honor of knowing this wonderful gentleman and friend. He lived the motto "Service aboveSelf" and showed us how to serve others and the Lord. May comfort and strength be given to Marjorie and the rest of his family. His presence here is deeply missed.

Our love goes out to all Jim's family. We have some great memories of Jim when he and Marge and their girls came up to Stevens Pass. We're glad we had a chance for a great visit with Jim at Kyle's and Chelsea's wedding on the Wash. coast. He will be missed by so many. Bobbie and Don Ashby, Everett, WA

We were so sorry to hear of Jim's death. We have known Jim for years---since the quarter midget racing days. We have so many good memories of our times together with Jim. Jack had the privilege of being best man at Jim and Marge's wedding. Although we hadn't seen Jim since he and Marge visited us in Nine Mile Falls, sometime in the 90's we kept in touch through Christmas letters. This past Christmas we did not receive a letter. However, Jim called us a couple of months later to update us on their lives. He and Marge were on speaker phone so we had a nice visit. I am so grateful we got to have that last visit.

I went to work for Jim in the early 60's and 70's. He was a good employer and friend. I will always remember those days and treasure our time together. Goodbye Jim, see you later.

The day my dad passed I went to say my goodbyes. When I walked into his room I saw the most amazing sight ever. The sun light shining through the closed blinds settled on his peacefulness. His body snuggled in his bed and upon his face was his typical daddy's ganna get you smirk. I put my hand on his hair and whispered a giggle in his ear, "hahaha...that's just like you, I love you too!"
