Joseph Miller Obituary
Born 1922, 10 of 12 children in Fromberg, MT. His family moved by covered wagon in 1923 to Priest River, ID. Attended U of I until joining the Navy where he served in the Pacific as a medic attached to the 4th marine Div and was wounded on Iwo Jima. A Shoreline resident since 1962, he retired from the Navy in 1967. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jean; sister Elsie Loper; children, Robert Miller and Kathy (Pat) Butler; grandchildren, Robert (Dianna) Shook, Tracy (Dave) McMorris, Lindsay and Kyle Miller; great-grandsons, Ryan McMorris and Julian Shook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
