The Kirkland July 4th parade will not be the same without Joe waving the American Flag and beaming from ear to ear. I will so miss Joe in our parade.

Joe spoke about his wartime experiences as a B-17 gunner and German POW to my class at Bellevue High 11 years ago. You could have heard a pin drop, especially when he told them about 1,000 POWs receiving Communion from one piece of the host on Easter Sunday after the church was bombed in Nuremberg.

My brother Bruce and I spent many hours at the Regan's home when we were children. The house was always filled with love and lots of people. Joe was a funny, patient, loving man. Our love and prayers are with all of you. Cristy, Bruce & Kelsey Burnett

It was an honor and a privilage to have met Joe and Kay many years ago when I was involved in politics. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. When He arrived in Heaven Joe was greeted with a WELCOME HOME. Respectfully, Michael Grow
